Lancaster County is home to some of the best field hockey players in the nation, including the 2011 PA State Champions, Hempfield. Year after year, HS seniors from the area are offered scholarships to Division 1 programs around the country. Many of those players train at LANCO Fieldhouse. The Fieldhouse offers some of the most competitive field hockey leagues in the state. From full-field summer leagues, which attract top college players, to winter leagues that attract elite athletes from all over Central PA, the Fieldhouse has the best competition around. Leagues are available throughout the year for players ranging from junior high and high school to college and beyond.
The Fieldhouse is also home to the elite Simply Field Hockey program. The SFH program is run by Bob Derr. Coach Derr is the head coach at Warwick High School and one of the premier coaches in the state. The SFH program is geared towards first-rate field hockey players from across Lancaster County. This program is reserved for the best-of-the-best and is highly sought after by every coach in the area since many of the girls in SFH earn college scholarships in field hockey.
While LFH is the ultimate place for the serious field hockey player, our facility is also a great place for beginners looking to learn the game. Sandy Fauser and her "Stick Skills" program is a great place for your players to develop their fundamentals. Our clinics start for players in 1st grade and help players learn the basic skills and rules of the game.
Lancaster County is the home to top-level field hockey, and top-level players chose to train at LANCO Fieldhouse. Come experience for yourself why the Fieldhouse is the premiere field hockey facility in the area!
